I'm completely in love with this book. Katie's writing is so good, I literally couldn't put it down. I felt close to Sara, I felt her fear,
her happiness and everything in between. Katie Perez doesn't tell you a story, she shows it to you and makes you feel all the things the main characters feel too. I'm so incredibly happy I've picked up this book.

The cliffhanger we ended on got me even more invested in this story even though I didn't think it would be possible. I'm going straight into the second book. I need answers! I... wow... Definitely recommend!

I am still in shock!!!! First place, please, please check your trigger warnings as this is a dark romance book. Now on to the good stuff. 🤣 Burn it Down picks up right where Light it Up ends and I love that. The FMC has had her life flipped upside down, but she does not back down. The MMC is morally gray in all the right ways. He pushes the FMC to be the strong woman he knows she is. The heat between them 🥵 will burn. The spice throughout the whole book but it does not overpower the plot, just adds flavor to the story. Now to the sad part, while yes this is a HEA there is a cliffhanger. I am still debating if it is a bad as the first one or just a touch lighter. 😂

Overall I give this book a rating of 5 stars and 5 peppers.

What an absolute blast to read! This novella is sweet, fun, a little spicy, completely endearing, and the plot is a riot.

Loved this novella! The plot is such a fun idea and both main characters are so much more than what you'd first assume. The use of social media filters for dates was done so well it gave the story so many cute
moments, but all my favorites were the quiet ones, no videos to post, no
one watching their every move, when Parker and Addie seemed to just
light each other up. So, so good, highly recommend you grab this one!
